About: The stink bug has a shield like shape with marbled brown color. Typically they are less than 1 inch long, and easily identifiable by these traits. They are most known for the odor emitted when disturbed similar to a skunk smell. They tend to congregate in large numbers and may lay up to five generations of eggs in the same area in one year depending on temperature.

Where to Look for Cinch Bugs: Stink bugs typically affect crops, including corn and soy. They will also puncture kernels or soybeans to drain the moisture, damaging the produce. They will affect other fruits such as apples, peaches, figs, citrus, persimmons and blackberries.

Self Treatment Control Methods: You may help prevent stink bugs by Caulking windows, sealing cracks and crevices. You can also remove vegetation and debris found near the home.
